Brush Chipper Questions
Is it usually a very long process to “wood chip” limbs & brush?
why , how do people underestimate the job of “Wood chipping” brush..even if using a sizeable wood chipper with a 6 inch intake?
what takes the longest and is it really worth it? or what is a better way to get rid of limbs and brush? (if cant burn it and dont have a local pick up free service…how much is it if they charge you to come by and wood chip it for you? is it very expensvie?)
please explain what you can

IS IT REALLY GOOD MULCH? WHY? AND IS IT ECONOMICAL? AS I THINK IT COST 200 DOLLARS TO RENT A 6 INCH CHIPPER FOR 1 DAY.
not to undermine anybody but i don’t recommend buying a wood chipper from harbor freight. some things you can get a good buy on from them but working equipment is not one. it sounds like you ran into a problem with somebody that gave you a price to get rid of your pruned limbs and such and then changed there mind and or price? if i am correct than the answer is easy. call a professional landscaper or yard service company. if this person seen what you wanted done and gave you a price and then says that it is more complicated than he thought or some other lame reason for trying to get more money from you than what your dealing with is a crook. i am a lic. contractor and see this crap all the time. probably the cheapest way is to haul it to the dump. the local dump usually has a lower rate for green yard waist as it is bio-degradable.if you don’t have a pickup truck or know somebody that does to haul it to the dump, then look in the home services department of the paper under debri hauling or yard cleanup, etc. i don’t know how much you have to get rid of but i use a guy that will clean and haul 10 yrds of debri for $125.00 he even rakes or sweeps up when he is through. the only things he won’t haul are concrete and paints, oil, liquids, etc. good luck i hope this helps you.
