Brush Chipper Questions
are wood chippers very difficult to use? (if have a 6 inch intake)?
have a very large amount of brush and small trees that have cut down and need to have them wood chipped.
how easy it is and do you have to use a small chain saw in coordination with using the wood chipper to cut off all the excess limbs etc..before running through the chipper? how time consuming to wood chip , say a pile of brush nearly 4 feet tall and 10 feet wide and 40 feet long? (including liming up a bit of them too before running through chipper?)

If it won’t fit in without trimming then it will need to be trimmed one way or another! As to how long it takes, that depends on the chipper. One thing is certain, you’ll be there forever if you use a small domestic-type machine. Special tip – keep a decent stout stick back for prodding bits that get stuck, NEVER get your hands anywhere near the working parts.
